  3. WHAT ARE THE HOURS - When does the festival start and end?

    1. 3 Day Spring Break Festival Campsite is open from 11am on Thursday for those with confirmed booking. Campers will be allowed on to the festival grounds from Thursday, 11am until midnight, arrivals outside of this time are advised that they will not be accredited for admission into the campsite until the check-in desk re-opens; Friday 9:00am until 12:00 am on Saturday.

      The festival dates and times are as follows:

      September 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm - 12:00 am

      September 28, 2019 at 2:00 pm - 12:00 am

      September 29, 2019 at 2:00 pm - 12:00 am

  4. IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?

    1. Parking is available within the festival grounds. There is one big parking entrance which is easily accessible as follows:

      One entrance and exits accessible from Rand Airport Road Germiston

      Parking area is enclosed and manned by security

      Parking is R50

  5. WHERE DO I BUY TICKETS?

    1. Tickets are available through Computicket outlets or on the day at the gate.

      We suggest you buy tickets online/in store before the show to avoid unnecessary queues.

      Pre-purchased ticket access to the show through "Fastlane" access at the main entrance.

  6. CAN I BUY TICKETS AT THE DOOR?

    1. Yes, but remember onsite ticket sales do not begin until 10h00 - 17h00 each show day.

      We can't guarantee tickets will be available at the door. If 3 Day Spring Break Festival tickets sell out before the festival, no tickets will be available at the door. To ensure you don't miss out, pre-purchase your tickets today!

  7. WHEN WILL THE ENTERTAINMENT BE ANNOUNCED?

    1. The line-up is out on all our social channels but programme will be released in the weeks leading up to the festival, though we will be revealing details earlier than that via our website and social channels. Keep an eye on all our social channels.

  8. How do I enter the competition to perform at the festival as an artist?

    1. We have Emerging artist Competition. Entries will be opened from the beginning of July annually. Announcement of top 50 will be announced at the end of August, with the top 30 and top 10 being announce a week after and a week apart respectively. Only 5 acts will get a chance to share the stage with the very best of Mzansi's talent.

  9. I'm a member of the media. How do I get a media pass?

    1. Applications for Media Accreditation for 3 Day Spring Break 2019 are now Open!

      Journalists, bloggers, and members of the media are invited to apply for media accreditation for 3 Day Spring Break 2019. As accreditation is limited, you will need to apply via link at the bottom. Applications for accreditation are open to authorised journalists, bloggers, photographers or videographers from the following:

      - Recognised local, national, regional or international daily newspapers, wire and news services

      - Recognised local, national, regional or international magazines

      - Recognised local, national, regional or international radio and television stations and network

      - Recognised local, national, regional or international blogs or websites

  10. How do I apply to sell my products at the festival?

    1. Submit your inquiry to stalls@raplyfrecordsza.co.za

      Applications from open on the 01st of June 2019 to the 1st of September 2019. We work on a 1st come 1st serve bases. Once we reach the maximum number of stalls we want, we will close the entries at any point.

  11. CAN YOU WATCH MY KIDS WHILE I ENJOY THE FESTIVAL?

    1. 3 Day Spring Break Festival does not provide child care services.

  12. WHAT ARE YOU NOT ALLOWED TO BRING?

    1. Submit your inquiry to stalls@raplyfrecordsza.co.za. Applications from open on the 01st of June 2018 to the 1st of September 2019. We work on a 1st come 1st serve bases. Once we reach the maximum number of stalls we want, we will close the entries at any point.

  14. Will I be able to buy food and drinks at the festival?

    1. A wide variety of food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for the duration of the event, supplied by various vendors at the festival.
      PLEASE NOTE: Your own food or beverages will not be permitted in the festival arena.

  15. HANDY TIPS

    1. Bring a warm jacket as it gets a bit chilly in the evening. Remember to bring your jacket in with you as no Pass Outs are allowed.

      Get an arm band from the organiser’s office or ticketing office and write your kids name and your number on it.

  16. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY CHILD, FRIENDS, FAMILY OR I GET SEPARATED?

    1. Find the nearest 3 Day Spring Break staff member or security guard and we will help you locate your missing party. We suggest that when you arrive at the 3 Day Spring Break Festival you and your friends & family find/spot a location to meet in case anyone does get lost. We also recommend that you obtain a wristband from the organisers' office or from the ticket office for your child/children and write your contact details on it.

  17. CAN I BRING MY PET?

    1. No. The only animals permitted in the venue are service animals. We love animals as much as you, but you are going to have to leave your pets at home.

  18. CAN I FLY A DRONE AROUND THE VENUE?

    1. Drones are not allowed in the venue

  19. WILL I BE ON CAMERA IF I ATTEND?

    1. We attract local, national and international press to the 3 Day Spring Break festival. In purchasing your ticket and in consideration for being admitted to the festival, the holder consents to being recorded (by audio, visual and/or other means) for exhibition and exploitation by any means in all media now known or hereafter devised worldwide in perpetuity. Holder also hereby: (1) releases 3 Day Spring Break Festival and it’s Organizers from any liability for loss or damage to persons or property, infringement of any right or any other claim or course of action of any kind; (2) authorizes and permits 3 Day Spring Break Festival, it’s Organizers and its designees which include but are not limited to all sponsors, exhibitors and contractors to use and authorize the use of his/her name, voice, likeness and all reproductions thereof by any means and in all media now and hereafter know for all purposes worldwide in perpetuity; and (3) agrees to comply with all rules and regulations of the festival. Holder agrees not to make any recordings of any kind at designated activities without the express written permission of 3 Day Spring Break Festival Organizers. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove from the festival facilities any person who in our sole and absolute discretion is behaving or threatening to behave in a manner which we reasonably consider to be disruptive of the festival.

  20. DO I NEED TO BRING CASH? Are Debit/Credit cards accepted?

    1. 3 Day Spring Break festival is a cashless environment. To purchase any product, you will need to have a festival wristband which you can load units from our cashless stall at the festival. Credit and debit cards will also be accepted by the majority of vendors in the Marketplace. There will be limited ATMs located at the venue however it’s suggested that attendees come prepared to avoid any inconvenience or disappointment due to technical issues or queuing.

  21. CASHLESS

    1. What is 'Cashless'?

      A platform which uses NFC technology on your wristband, to transact at the festival. You simply load money (via cash or credit card) onto your wristband at various top-up points and then you simply tap and go at all food and beverage stands.

      Can I pre-load money on to my wristband?

      NO. You can only top-up at the venue.

      What do I need to do before I can start using my wristband for tap-and-go purchases?

      Find a Top Up station at the Festival to load cash onto your wristband.

      How do I use my wristband to transact at the festival?

      Tap your wristband against any trader’s mobile device, at any of the Festival’s bars, merchandisers, or traders to instantly complete your transaction. Your cashless balance will reflect on the trader’s mobile device once the transaction is complete.

      Are there any charges for Top Up and Tap-and-go purchases?

      No. These services are available to you for free.

      What do I do If I still have money in my wristband after the festival?

      No worries, you can cash out online on to your bank account. Sign up at www.howler.co.za and click Cashout within the “Wallet” tab. You will be able pair your wristband using the number printed on the back.

      Can I gain access to the camping site if I’m attending the festival but not camping on site?

      No. Only people with camping wristbands will be allowed into the campsite.

      What is the difference between General ticket and VIP tickets?

      VIP tickets offer comfortable seated area, with prime viewing of the Main Stage , complete with a private bar and dedicated table services.

      The General ticket option provides access to the 3 Day Spring Break main festival arena with standing room in front of the main stage. Enjoy our variety of offerings for all ticket holders including performances from the festival’s various stages, explore the Marketplace and sample world cuisine from our 3 Day Spring Break Food Court.

      Are children allowed into the VIP Section?

      Children are only allowed into the VIP section if they are in the company of an adult that has a VIP pass and must be supervised at all times

      Are there single day passes?

      Single Day pass tickets are available. A single day pass ticket is not transferable to other days. We suggest you purchase the full festival pass to enjoy the full festival experience. Tickets are available at all Computicket outlets.

      Is a full festival pass three separate tickets?

      No. A full festival pass or 3-day pass is a single wristband that is worn for the entire weekend.

  22. WHAT ARE THE SECURITY EXPECTATIONS AT 3 DAY SPRING BREAK FESTIVAL?

    1. The safety and security of our staff, exhibitors and visitors is our priority. We work closely with the venue, security, and law enforcement authorities to identify risks, assess them and develop security plans for our festival.

      Everyone attending 3 Day Spring Break Festival should be aware or the following security measures: Security will be onsite at all times to assist you during all aspects of the 3 day Spring Break Festival. Everyone must have their 3 Day Spring Break Festival tickets on hand at all times when approaching the entrance. A fully operational security team will be doing searches at all entry points to the venue, hand held scanners will be used. No Fire arms are permitted into the festival grounds and NO lock-up facilities are available. Keep personal property with you at all times and do not leave any items unattended.

      A Venue Operations Centre will be located at the festival during the festival hours with all essential services in terms of SAPS, Security, Medical Personnel, Traffic Control, etc...

  23. WHAT DO I DO IF I FIND/LOSE SOMETHING?

    1. Please bring all found items to the 3 day Spring Break’s organiser's office. Lost items will be kept at the organiser’s office and you can also phone 011 440 7879 to locate your lost items.
